A good-luck wish!
The soccer team I play on is in a tournament this weekend. Actually, we are first seeded in the tournament. I am so proud of everyone on my team. Good luck!
I had no idea you played soccer! I played for 18 years...even in college...love it! I wish I could play in an adult league, but my body just won't handle it anymore.
Speaking of, how is your hip? And just out of curiosity, is your hip the reason you aren't running anymore? Sorry about all the questions...just catching up on your blog. :-)
My hip is slowly improving. I had physical therapy last night and am supposed to go back to my orthopedist later this week. Yep, my hip is the reason that I'm not running...I actually didn't get to play in the tournament over the weekend either. That definitely made me sad.
I started playing soccer when I came to medical school. The first year team needed another girl. I had no idea how to play, but I was a willing female. It's been great. We've been together as a team for two years now...through outdoor and indoor seasons. I had no idea how fun soccer actually is.
I'm a surgery intern and a newlywed which means that I am torn between the two worlds of learning everything I can about my new husband and learning everything I can about surgery and how to take care of patients. It is a fine balance.
